Alasdair Smith - A Smith

I live and work in the city of Glasgow on the west coast of Scotland, although I grew up in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway and now spend a great deal of time in St. Andrew's in Fife.

I have written business reports and documents for over 20 years, but have been writing more creatively for the last five. I have been published in Times Educational Supplement (Scotland), Family History Monthly, Scottish Memories, and the Arran Voice and The Herald newspapers.

I work in Scotland's Creative Industries but have a passion for France and Italy and hope one day to make a permanent move to such a warmer climate to write the next great Scottish Crime Novel.
